An Introduction

The historic Three Pickerels is a 19th century building set in the quaint village of Mepal in Cambridgeshire alongside the picturesque New Bedford River. The family owned business is run by sisters Emily, Daisy and Molly. They have been transforming the location into a charming riverside pub and bed & breakfast for the last 9 years. Adjacent to the pub gardens are acres of meadow land often frequented by roaming cattle and horses.

Our cozy rooms are a world away from the crowd with stunning views of the river and countryside.  A perfect places to unwind.

Since the Corona virus pandemic we have re-opened however we are now serving from our bespoke outside container bar ‘The Thirsty Fish’. We have ample riverside seating some under the cover of our marquee and some not, but all is socially distanced for the safety of our staff and customers
